Sweet Welcoming dessert

Sweet Welcoming dessert! Who can say no to this recipe?

  1. 1. Beat 1 egg + 1 yolk with 150 g (5.3 oz/ 1.2 cups) of raw cane sugar.
  2. Add 100 ml (3.2 fl oz/ 1 cup) of almond oil.
  3. 3. Add 350 g (12.3 oz/ 2.8 cups) of whole wheat flour (organic and stone ground if possible) + half a sachet of yeast and cinnamon to taste.
  4. 4. Mix with your hands and form a ball.
  5. 5. Place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  6. 6. Divide the mix in two parts and use one part for the base, working it with your hands.
  7. 7. Add jam as you desire (we used a fig jam, with no added sugar and with figs from local trees).
  8. 8. Now comes the best part. Sprinkle the tart with the rest of the mix, crumbling it with your fingertips.
  9. 9. Put the tart in the oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 20-30 minutes and it’s ready! Easy and delicious.
