THE LONGEVITY DIET

The Longevity Diet for adults, developed by Professor Longo thanks to thirty years of research, offers everyone dietary and lifestyle recommendations. If you suffer from specific diseases, it is important to always contact your specialist doctor and a nutritionist for a detailed and personalized diet.

You will also find more specific nutritional information for women during pregnancy and during the breastfeeding phase and then the Longevity Diet for children and adolescents, including all the essential nutrients for growth.

THE FASTING-MIMICKING PROGRAM

The fasting-mimicking program is a 5-day program based on a specific nutritional plan with natural products and ingredients. It was designed to “trigger” the fasting state while still providing nutrients and calories. It is therefore possible to receive all the benefits of fasting while minimizing difficulties such as a sense of hunger. The program is built on the scientific research and years of work of Professor Valter Longo and his team at the University of Southern California and it is clinically tested.

NUTRITION AND LIFESTYLE GUIDELINES FOR STRENGTHENING THE IMMUNE SYSTEM

To help you support the immune system through nutrition and lifestyle, particularly in a critical period like the recent pandemic, Fondazione Valter Longo in collaboration with the Create Cures Foundation created Nutritional Guidelines to Strengthen the Immune System for everyone.

In addition, thanks to the support of donors and following their requests, the Foundations developed Nutritional Guidelines for Women to Strengthen the Immune System for different age groups where you will find nutritional advice, exercise and sleep recommendations, and healthy recipes.

PHYSICAL EXERCISE

The Longevity Diet is a lifestyle, and it also includes physical movement. For this reason, you will find precise information about physical exercise to be practiced during the week.

For those who practice the fasting-mimicking diet, a video is available with a specific exercise practice to follow during this period. It was developed thanks to the collaboration of experts.

RECIPES AND LONGEVITY MENU

To bring scientific research “from the lab to the plate” and into everyday life, as well as to offer useful and practical tools, the scientific team and nutritionists of the Foundation created a series of tasty and healthy dishes and menus for you.
