Breakfast Apple Pie

Breakfast Apple Pie. Enjoy this delicious and healthy dessert! Easy to make and oh-so-healthy!
 
Ingredients:
 
– 250 g (8.8 oz/ 2 cups) of wholewheat flour
– 100 g (3.5 oz/ 0.8 cups) of almond flour (other flours are fine too)
– ml (3.4 fl oz/ 0,8 cups) of honey
– the grated peel of a lemon,
– a pinch of salt
– a sachet of baking powder (or a teaspoon of baking soda and the juice of half a lemon)
– cinnamon to taste
– 250 ml (8.4 fl oz/ 2 cups) of almond milk
– 60 ml (2 fl oz/ ½ cup) of sunflower seed oil
– 3 apples
 
Preparation:
 
1. Mix wholewheat flour, almond flour (other flours are fine too), honey, the grated peel of a lemon, a pinch of salt, a sachet of baking powder (or a teaspoon of baking soda and the juice of half a lemon), and cinnamon to taste.
2. In another bowl, mix almond milk (or other plant-based kinds of milk) and sunflower seed oil.
3. Mix the two compounds until you obtain a homogeneous one.
4. Add 2 apples cut into small pieces to the dough and mix again.
5. Place thin slices of an apple in an oiled and floured pan. This will become the decoration.
6. Pour the dough into the pan.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about an hour.
